RESOURCES AVAILABLE ON LINE
Listed below are the resources on line that we have found useful for community and media related issues. If you know of any useful websites on media and community, please drop us a line on tracking@cmn.ie

BREAST CANCER SITE
Please tell 10 friends to tell 10 friends today! The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an
underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "Fund Free Mammograms" (pink window in the middle). There is nothing to sign up for and no cost to you. The corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate a mammogram in exchange for advertising. Here's the website - Pass it along to all your friends!!

PARTICIPATORY MEDIA HIGHLIGHTS
Photography - Photovoice, based in England, has been working through RTK with youth in FYR Macedonia and helping them tell their stories through images. Many of the images that have been produced tell the stories of how they are affected by HIV/AIDS in their daily activities and interactions.

Video - The RTK Initiative makes use of participatory video to help find the best ways to communicate with young people on issues of HIV/AIDS. RTK has partnered with Scribe Video Center, a Philadelphia-based video production organisation for 2 pilot participatory video projects in Haiti and Jamaica. The project aims to capture the perceptions of young people on HIV/AIDS while at the same time increasing the capacity of local organizations and youth in communication strategy development
