Community Empowerment through Distance learning in the Information Society. |
Community Media Network ran during 1998 a CEDIS programme. As a result this website was set up. Now having finished the programme C.M.N. has restructured the site by offering to groups and organisations working within the community sector a new section called GRASSROOTS to groups and organisations working within the community sector.
This way the CEDIS site brings together the voluntary and community sector and the Information Society offering a view into different community sites , into IT and other resources to support and improve the sector's voice.
Those groups/organisations with very little IT training or resources are getting the chance to reserve a page on the GRASSROOTS section to be used as their own information space.
With C.M.N. support they can fill up this space with information about themselves
with item such as photos, logos, etc. Check out the rest of the sections for
further information and get in touch if you want to be involved!!
